This is my personal blog. Since I’m busy, I just grabbed the Lucid theme from Elegant Themes and made a few, mild modifications so I could have a place to share silly stories and random thoughts.
A diet designed by a registered dietitian, The Skinny Jeans Diet was conceived by Lyssa Weiss, Nutritionist/Weight Management Specialist. She needed a new site to sell her plan from & offer her consulting & training services. We took a WordPress template from Elegant Themes and customized it for her. Lyssa Weiss and The Skinny Jeans Diet was mentioned in the August 2013 Issue of Family Circle Magazine. Congratulations Lyssa!
This Dallas-based meeting facilitation and training company came to us needing a website and logo. They had specific ideas for branding. We created their logo, and per their direction, set the site so that the navigation, and each page for each navigation category, reflects each color in their logo representing their full spectrum of services. The site is responsive (designed to work on smartphones and handhelds) and coded for SEO.
Pan-Gaia, a creator of costume clothing and jewelry, already had a site, but the look was dated and didn’t have online shopping. The owner purchased a WordPress template subscription from Elegant Themes, and we heavily customized this template. Extra functionality was added such as image magnification for products, and the ability to add many more product options per item sold. We took the original template’s look and modified it to reflect the owner’s unique taste.
Madame Ruby Lynn creates handmade aromatherapy oils and sells them online, in addition to various events around the country. The business has a vintage brand and has created a back-story for the character, Madame Ruby Lynn. We wanted something that matched their early 1900’s feel, yet still allowed for online shopping. Even their social networking and shopping cart buttons have a look that reflects the era’s advertising and the sensibilities of what a lady and her home would be like back then.
Attorney Nancy Lorenzen of Richardson, TX wanted a very different site from the usual attorney website. She understands that many people feel intimidated and uncomfortable around attorneys and she wants her clients to feel relaxed with her. We found colors and imagery that conveyed a sense of warmth and reassurance.
Bill Kennedy, a Dallas area attorney, had a specific look and feel in mind for his law firm’s website. He wanted to increase the amount of content they had up for SEO purposes and to inform potential clients. This website went from around a 15 page site to about 168 pages. The site makes it very easy for potential clients to find information about the firm and on the subject they want help with.
